Created from October 2021 – May 2022

I served as the Director of Design & Creativity on NYU Shanghai's 2022 Student Commencement Committee (SCC) Board in my final year of college. I oversaw creative direction for SCC's branding, including social media, marketing, and merchandising revolving around 2022 graduation activities.

Logo

This abstract logo reflects the interconnectivity of the global 2022 class, despite being separated by the pandemic. It can be read as SCC's interlocking letters, and also NYU's three global campuses' close relationship.

Style Guide

SCC's colors revolve around a central purple-blue, inspired by NYU's iconic purple. With saturated secondary colors, the palette comes together to create a bright visual punch.

The sans serif font choice carries a bold personality while maintaining a clean silhouette. 

Instagram

Instagram posts implement the visual identity's soft gradients and oval strokes to create a chroma effect that steps into futurism while creating a sense of 80s retro nostalgia.
