In 2025 I started journaling again. A cycle of emotional highs and lows had me pouring into the pages — a series of jubilant triumphs juxtaposed with anxious spirals from one entry to the next. But after both laughter and tears I found a fuller and wiser version of myself. The entries brought an appreciation for the beauty in experiencing these moments in their totality.
“Life is Beautiful” is a zine I created to capture my year’s reflections. It is a 68 page photo diary of my year, with a collection of journal excerpts and film photos from my travels to Asia and Europe. It tells a journey of joy, sadness, and acceptance.
